Hello, kids! π
Today, I want to talk to you about something very amazing:
Creation! πβ¨
Look around you.
π Who made the sun?
π Who made the moon?
π³ Who made the trees?
π Who made the animals?
π¨βπ©βπ§ And who made you and me?
Take a moment and think about it…
Who created everything?
π₯ What Does Science Say?
You may have heard about something called the Big Bang.
Scientists believe that our universe began in a very hot, dense state and then expanded. Over a very long time, stars, galaxies, planets, and eventually our Earth formed.
But here is an interesting question:
When you see something beautiful and orderly, don’t you wonder how it came to be? π€
Think about a beautiful house.
π If you see a house, you know someone built it.
If you see a beautiful painting, π¨ you know someone painted it.
If you see a wonderful machine, βοΈ you know someone designed it.
So when we look at our amazing worldβwith the sun, moon, stars, plants, animals, and peopleβwe can ask:
Could there be a Creator behind all of creation?
β¨ The Bible’s Story of Creation
The Bible teaches that God is the Creator.
The very first words of the Bible tell us:
βIn the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.β
β Genesis 1:1
Let’s see what happened!
π‘ Day 1 β Light
In the beginning, the earth was dark.
π Darkness was everywhere.
Then God said:
βLet there be light!β
And there was light! π‘β¨
God separated the light from the darkness.
π Light
π Darkness
God began His creation in an orderly way.
π Day 2 β Sky and Water
Next, God separated the waters and made the sky.
βοΈπ€οΈ
The world was beginning to take shape.
π³ Day 3 β Land and Plants
God gathered the waters together, and dry land appeared.
ποΈππ
Then God created plants, trees, grass, and flowers.
π±π³π·π»
Imagine how beautiful the earth must have looked!
βοΈπβ Day 4 β Sun, Moon and Stars
God made the great lights in the sky:
βοΈ The sun to rule the day.
π The moon to shine at night.
β The stars filled the heavens.
Just look up at the night sky!
How amazing is it? π€©
ππ¦ Day 5 β Sea Creatures and Birds
Then God created living creatures in the water and birds in the sky.
ππ π³π¦ π¦
The oceans became full of life!
The skies became full of birds!
π¦ππ Day 6 β Animals
God created animals of every kind.
π¦ Lions
π Elephants
π¦ Giraffes
π Monkeys
πΆ Dogs
π± Cats
So many different animals!
And then God created something very special…
π¨βπ©βπ§ Human beings!
β€οΈ God Created Us
The Bible teaches that God created human beings in His image.
God didn’t create people first and then prepare a place for them.
Instead, He prepared the world first.
π Earth
π± Plants
π³ Trees
βοΈ Sun
π Moon
π Sea creatures
π¦ Birds
π¦ Animals
And then He created us.
Isn’t that amazing?
It is like a loving parent preparing a beautiful home for a child. β€οΈ
π³ The Garden of Eden
The Bible tells us that God placed the first man, Adam, in a beautiful garden called the Garden of Eden.
π³πΊπ¦πππ¦
God gave Adam the responsibility to care for creation.
He told humanity to rule over and care for the creatures of the earth.
That means creation is not only something to enjoy.
We also have a responsibility to care for it. ππ
β€οΈ You Are Wonderfully Made!
And here is something very important for every one of you:
You are not an accident.
The Bible says:
βI am fearfully and wonderfully made.β
β Psalm 139:14
Look at your hands. β
Look at your eyes. π
Look at your heart. β€οΈ
Look at your amazing body!
You are wonderfully made.
God knows you, God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
π€ So, Who Created Everything?
Science helps us learn many wonderful things about how our universe and Earth developed.
The Bible teaches us who is behind creation:
π God is the Creator. π
When you look at the stars…
β
When you see a beautiful flower…
πΈ
When you hear a bird singing…
π¦π΅
When you see an amazing animal…
π¦
And when you look at yourself in the mirror…
πͺπ
Remember:
You are part of God’s wonderful creation! β€οΈ
So, kids, I want you to go home today and look around.
Look at the sky. π€οΈ
Look at the trees. π³
Look at the animals. π
Look at your family. β€οΈ
And ask yourself:
βWho created all these wonderful things?β
Think about it…
And remember the Creator. πβ¨
Thank you, kids! God bless you! β€οΈ
